Kevin Griffin is a freelance trumpeter, bassist, and arranger in Nashville, Tennessee. Originally from Pensacola, Florida, Kevin relocated to Nashville in 2012 to attend Belmont University, where he graduated with a degree in Commercial Music in 2015.  While at Belmont, he studied under Joel Treybig, Mike Casteel and Tyler Mire, and also worked as a staff musician at the world famous Grand Hotel in Mackinac Island Michigan in the summer of 2014.  

Since graduating from Belmont, Kevin has had the opportunity to perform alongside numerous artists/bands, including Sidewalk Prophets, Rend Collective, Michael W. Smith, Denver and the Mile High Orchestra, Mike Farris, Mandisa, Matthew Thiessen, Evan Craft, Redimi2, and The Aquaducks.  

Kevin also tours with American Idol alum Danny Gokey, having been on the road with him since 2017.  When not performing live, Kevin can be found recording for a wide variety of clients in several different genres.

While Matt Jefferson is best known as the bass voice of the acclaimed trombone quartet Maniacal 4, his versatility extends to classical and commercial music as well. Equally versed on bass trombone, tenor trombone, and tuba, he has performed with the Nashville Symphony, the Louisiana Philharmonic, the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, the Grammy-nominated One O’Clock Lab Band, as well as hundreds of film and video game soundtracks.

A graduate of University of North Texas, Matt’s true passion is for teaching. He constantly tries to challenge the limitations of traditional institutionalized education to help students think outside the box and maximize their learning potential to achieve their goals. He was also a valued faculty member of Nicholls State University for three years in Louisiana and is currently on faculty at Lipscomb University.

A forward-thinking “people person,” Matt is an ardent student of life. In addition to his music career, he does freelance video production. He also is an enthusiastic baseball fan and self-confessed bookworm whose tastes range from Malcolm Gladwell to Christopher Moore. Originally from Canada, Matt now resides in Nashville with his wife, Ali.

Originally from California MD, Simon Yeh is a Nashville based saxophonist, woodwind doubler, arranger, composer, and producer. Simon is currently the saxophonist for artist Danny Gokey, and has worked alongside many other artists/groups including Michael W. Smith, Chris Tomlin, Toby Mac, Mandisa, T. Grahm Brown, Denver and the Mile High Orchestra, Jasmin Murray, Blanca, Evan Craft, Redimi2, Coby James, and many more. Simon is also saxophonist/horn arranger for Nashville based super band UNIVERSAL CRUSH as well as an active member of several other Nashville based show bands.

In addition to working with artists/bands in a live setting, Simon can be found in the studio recording for various artists in many different genres from classical to jazz to pop, and much more. Examples While in the studio, Simon has had the chance to play along side and learn from some of the worlds best horn players and session musicians.

While Simon keeps a very busy performance schedule, he also spends a lot of his time in Music Education with over 10 yrs of teaching experience. Simon is currently on faculty at Lipscomb University where he teaches saxophone, woodwind doubling, jazz ensemble, as well as various music classes.
